At this year’s Annual General Meeting, held last Friday, March 22nd, Carlos Díaz Marquina announced his intention to step down from his position on the Australia Spain Business Association’s Executive Board after 25 years of service. Carlos held not one position on the board, but three: Secretary, Treasurer, and Coordinator of Data Protection. ASBA and its members are greatly indebted to him for all he did to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the Association for a quarter of a century.
In his place, Juan Millán (Vice President, ASBA Madrid) was voted the new Secretary and Coordinator of Data Protection, and Fernando Mancha (General Director, MIRACOM) was voted Treasurer.
